I saw the Ebert & Roeper "10 worst movies of 2007" show, and guess that you must have seen or reviewed them all. You have my sympathy. And 2008 obviously isn't shaping up much better.

You are right on the money. Listen, I looked at rottentomatoes.com's list of the worst reviewed movies of 2007 and I think I had 5 of the top 10 (the others weren't made available for early critics' screenings). And here's what's worse: last week I saw TWO movies worse than any of those five I reviewed. One is the aforelinked Over Her Dead Body. The other is a movie starring, and I am not making this up, Paris Hilton.
They were so bad they made the extremely stupid Fool's Gold (which I just got back from) seem bearable. Though maybe it was bearable only because Matthew McConaughey was half naked through 75 percent of the movie. You know, if you like that sort of thing.

Matthew M half naked? Stephen Colbert and I will be watching with rapt attention.

Yeah, you could just rent this from Netflix and turn it on and turn the sound down and you'd be equall entertained. He's mostly shirtless in the first part so you could even turn it off after the first hour. It'll be better than hearing the lengthy, nonsensical explanation of how the treasure got buried in the first place.
