Stephenie Meyer live (on the web)

Dawn Bummed out you didn't score tickets to any of Twilight author Stephenie Meyer's sold-out tour dates? Fear not. Ew.com will Sm be hosting live webcasts of two of the appearances being held in connection to the release of Meyer's upcoming Breaking Dawn, the fourth and last installment in her insanely popular series, about a young woman romantically torn between a gorgeous vampire and a hot werewolf.

Ew.com will live stream the New York date at 7 p.m. EST on August 1 and the Los Angeles event on August 7 at 11 p.m. EST. Meyer is also appearing in Chicago and Seattle, but alas, not South Florida.

Fans can also text questions for Meyer courtesy of Waterfall Mobile; she'll answer a few of them during her Los Angeles event, which also features musical guest Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October. Meyer has said that Furstenfeld's tunes have inspired scenes in her saga, which is as close as publishing has come to reliving the Harry Potter phenomenon.

Breaking Dawn hits shelves at 12:01 Aug. 2. And for the record, I'd go for the vampire.
