In a move that is not surprising to anyone with an IQ above 40, Random House has announced that it will reissue Sen. Joe Biden's book Promises to Keep in paperback, with a first printing of 100,000, according to AP.
Being chosen to be a vice presidential running mate has a way of boosting sales, you see. Promises, reissued in hardback a year ago, only sold about 15,000 copies. As of Monday, two days after it was announced that Biden would be Barack Obama's running mate, it was out of stock on amazon.com
