Books for Basel at the Wolfsonian-FIU

Parr The Wolfsonian-FIU hosts its Design Marathon: Five Minutes of Designed Freedom from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, in honor of Art Basel. The event involves 35 artists and designers who get five minutes on stage to talk about whatever they choose.

But wait: There's more! The free event will also include book signings. They kick off at noon with Martin Parr (Parr World) and continue with Lawrence Weiner (As Far as the Eye Can See); Richard Tuttle (The Art of Richard Tuttle); Chip Kidd (Bat-Manga: The Secret History of Batman in Japan) and Jessica Helfland (Scrapbooks).
