Library hosts storytelling festival

Storyteller The Miami-Dade Public Library will host the 9th Annual Art of Storytelling from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on May 2, featuring such storytellers as Japan's Kuniko Yamamota (pictured here) and others from Canada, Brazil and the Caribbean. The event will also have a Teen Zone featuring manga and anime.

The event is free and will be held at the Main Library, 101 W. Flagler St. in Miami. Free parking is available at the Miami-Dade Cultural Center Garage, 50 NW Second Ave. and the Hickman Garage, 270 NW Second St.
