Subject of "What is the What" to speak at Barry U

What In honor of Black History Month, Barry University is hosting a read-a-thon from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Feb. 22 and 23. The subject: Dave Eggers' What is the What, about Valentino Achak Deng, one of Sudan's "Lost Boys," who was forced to leave his village at age 7.

Deng will attend the read-a-thon at Barry's Andreas Hall reading from the book from 11:30-noon on Feb. 22 (that's a Monday).  He'll speak to students and faculty afterward.

I would love to go to this! Listened to the audio book and it was fantastic! Sometimes you need to read a book like this so you stop feeling sorry for your own stupid, shallow problems!
