See your favorite authors at Lit LIVE!

Reserve Just a reminder that the Broward Public Library Foundation's Lit LIVE! runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Nova Southeastern University's Alvin Sherman Library, Research and Information Technology Center, NSU
main campus, 3301 College Ave., Davie. The event, which features readings and panels and book signings from a variety of authors, is free.

Here's who will be there: Steve Alten, Russell Banks, R.B. Bernstein, Deborah Crombie, Joy Fielding, Mireille Guilano, Anne C. Heller, David Kirby, Jean Hanff Korelitz, Elizabeth Kostova, Emily Liebert, Ellen Lupton, Peter Maass, Bob Morris, Achy Obejas, Alexandra Penney, Patricia Powell, Lisa See, Poppy Tooker, Jerald Walker and L. Jon Wertheim.

Russell Banks is very good, but I don't think you can seriously say he's more "important" than Don DeLillo, Phillip Roth, or Steve Alten.
