Just a reminder that the Broward Public Library Foundation's Lit LIVE! runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Nova Southeastern University's Alvin Sherman Library, Research and Information Technology Center, NSU
main campus, 3301 College Ave., Davie. The event, which features readings and panels and book signings from a variety of authors, is free.

Russell Banks is very good, but I don't think you can seriously say he's more "important" than Don DeLillo, Phillip Roth, or Steve Alten.
