2010 Indies Choice Book Awards

The American Booksellers Association has announced winners of the 2010 Indies Choice Book Awards:

The winners, chosen by owners and staff at ABA stores, are:

Stone Adult Fiction: Cutting for Stone, Abraham Verghese

Adult Nonfiction: The Lost City of Z, David Grann

Adult Debut: The Help, Kathryn Stockett

Young Adult: Catching Fire, Suzanne Collins

Middle Reader: When You Reach Me, Rebecca Stead

New Picture Book: The Lion and the Mouse, Jerry Pinkney

ABA members also inducted three of their all-time favorites into the Indies Choice Book Awards Picture Book Hall of Fame:

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day, Judith Viorst and Ray Cruz

Madeline, Ludwig Bemelmans

The Story of Ferdinand, Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson
