NYT: iBookstore has sold 600,000 e-books already, says Jobs

If you were hoping the iPad would not succeed as an e-reader, I have bad news for you:

In a New York Times story on Apple's edging into the business of selling apps, Brad Stone writes that Steve Jobs reports that the company has sold 450,000 iPads since they went on sale last Saturday and has sold 600,000 electronic books from the new iBookstore.
