I have never been an advocate of book burning - until now.
Rex Ryan, the obnoxious coach of the even more obnoxious New York Jets, is writing a book, the Associated Press reports. It will combine autobiography and football strategy, allegedly. His co-author is Don Yaeger, a former Sports Illustrated editor who has written books on former NFL stars Warren Moon and Walter Payton.
Wonder if Mr. Ryan will explain how the team he said was so superior managed to lose to the Dolphins twice last year?
Doubleday plans to publish the book in the spring of 2011 "potentially not long after the Super Bowl win Ryan is gunning for," the AP says. Yeah. Pigs will fly, too.
