Finally, you can browse the Macy's sale racks and feel like you're doing something with a purpose (besides improving your wardrobe, that is). From June 30-July 31, you can participate in the annual Book a Brighter Future Campaign to help raise money for Reading is Fundamental programs.
Customers can donate $3 and get a shopping pass for $10 off a $50 purchase. Of the $3 you donate, $1 will support local RIF programs; the other $2 benefits national RIF programs.
As of last year, the campaign raised $6.5 million.
So go buy some new shoes or something, why don't you?
