Amazon chooses its best books of 2010

I've read two of 10, but there are a couple on here I have on my list:

Skloot 1. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Rebecca Skloot

2. Faithful Place, Tana French (I am skeptical. Despised her last book.)

3. Matterhorn, Karl Marlantes (he'll be at the Miami book fair)

4. Unbroken, Laura Hillenbrand

5. The Warmth of Other Suns, Isabel Wilkerson

6. Freedom, Jonathan Franzen

7. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, Stieg Larsson

8. To The End of the Land, David Grossman

9. Just Kids, Patti Smith (also coming to the book fair)

10. The Big Short, Michael Lewis

The Amazon customers' list was a bit more suspect. Though it included The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, The Hornet's Nest, The Big Short and Freedom, it also includes Sh*t My Dad Says, Charlaine Harris' Dead in the Family and The Short Happy Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer. Really. Rounding out the rest of the list, which was based on orders (obviously): Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins, Women Food and God by Geneen Roth and Game Change by Jonathan Heilemann and Mark Halperin.
