Books & Books to open new store in downtown Miami

The new store at the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale isn't the last stop for Books & Books. The Miami Herald's Elaine Walker reports that the Newstand Cafe by Books & Books is opening in the Wachovia Financial Center sometime in February or early March.

According to Elaine's story, the new store will have 800 square feet inside, plus outdoor seating in the plaza. "Owner Mitchell Kaplan says the decision was based on a strong fourth quarter retail performance, as well as growth in the residential and commercial offerings in downtown Miami," she writes.
