Broward libraries now lending e-readers

Kindle2 Here's one way to test an e-reader before you buy it: Some Broward County libraries are lending the devices along with the e-books.

The Miami Herald's Laura Figueroa reports that six Broward branches are lending Kindles, Nooks and Sony e-readers: Weston, Deerfield Beach, North Regional in Coconut Creek, Northwest Regional in Coral Springs, South Regional in Pembroke Pines and Miramar.

Sorry, Miami-Dade, residents, you'll have to use your own e-readers to check out e-books.
