Deborah Eisenberg wins PEN/Faulkner

Deborah The Collected Stories of Deborah Eisenberg won the 2010 PEN/Faulkner award, earning its author $15,000 (runners up get $5,000). The collection includes stories from four different books, including Twilight of the Superheroes, which was also a PEN/Faulkner nominee.

Eisenberg and the finalists - Jennifer Egan, Jaimy Gordon, Eric Puchner and Brad Watson - will be honored in Washington D.C. on May 7.
