A new book about the famously reclusive author of To Kill a Mockingbird is going to showcase something shocking: Harper Lee's own perspective.
Ex-Chicago Trib reporter Marja Mills has written The Mockingbird Next Door with the cooperation of Lee and her family, the Associated Press reports. Lee rarely has spoken to the press about her book or, well, anything, for that matter. We don't even know how she felt about having the ever-awesome Catherine Keener play her in Capote.
Publisher Penguin, which hasn't set a release date yet, reports that the bio will cover Lee's childhood and the million-dollar question: why Lee never wrote anything after To Kill a Mockingbird.
