Father/son actors Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez are collaborating on a memoir entitled Along the Way, set for a Father's Day publication in 2012, according to the Associated Press.
Publisher Free Press says the book will explore "the inner and outer stages of a journey of a father and son" and will feature tidbits about the upcoming film The Way, in which Estevez will direct his father.
While I admit that I loved and badly wanted to vote for Martin Sheen as President Josiah Bartlet on The West Wing - BARTLET FOR AMERICA! - I have to wonder if a memoir by son Charlie Sheen wouldn't be a bit more...entertaining. They could call it Along the Way...to Vegas with A Couple of Hookers and Some Blow.
