"Former French president Jacques Chirac was rushed to hospital after being mauled by his own 'clinically depressed' pet dog."
If I was a poodle, and owned by a Frenchman, I'd probably want to bite somebody, too.

I wouldn't give much credence to an article written by someone who doesn't know a poodle from a Maltese.

I'm not one of these Hey-Let's-Make-Fun-of-French-People kind of guys. I actually like the French, I don't care what anyone says. They invented Fellatio, after all.
Still, you have to admit, that really is beyond ridiculous. A dog on antidepressants? I mean, sure, my cat like to smoke the occasional joint or what have you... but depressed dogs, that's just messed up. That dog is surely too stupid to be depressed. It's brain is the size of my thumb. And it really doesn't look like it could maul its way out of a wet paper bag. Take the thing for a walk, I'm sure it'll cheer up and stop "mauling" people.

Am I still banned?

Matt, you were never banned. We thought you had gotten too big for Burnettiquette and that's why you hadn't been around.
Sometimes the Typepad filter gets wonky and blocks posts that contains words we would never normally think of as profane.
