Apes attacking people is never a funny scenario, unless it's in King Kong or Planet of the Apes or Mighty Joe Young or something.
But the story of this chimpanzee from Connecticut being shot and killed by police after it mauled its owner and the owner's friend is just crazy.
Here are the words and phrases that jumped out at me from one version of the story:
- "raised like a human...,"
- "enjoyed human activities like drinking wine and surfing the Internet..."
- "Lyme Disease - which can cause panic attacks, paranoia, personality changes and mood swings in people..."
- "Xanax..."
- "Starred in a TV commercial for Old Navy cargo shorts..."
I know you have to take everything in context, especially words. But this chimp was raised like a human and enjoyed drinking wine, was sometimes given Xanax, and had Lyme disease, which may have caused it to be paranoid and have mood swings.
Hmmm. Maybe the booze and the Xanax...? Nah, nevermind.
Don't give wine to anything or anyone that still require diapers underneath their Old Navy cargos. It might put them in an unhealthy frame of mind.

sometimes my cat eats using it's claws like fingers...should i be worried?

If you delve about two levels of links you'll come up with this link that might be of interest:
'The chilling screams of a crazed chimp mauling a Connecticut woman were captured on a 911 tape - along with the animal's owner begging, "Send police with guns!"'

OK, I thought the link would appear - anyway here's how to get to it:
Burettequet -> Connecticut -> 911 tape captures chimp owner's horror
I don't know how true it is, though.

A chimp is a chimp, Not a cute almost human.
Chimps are evil, mean, very powerful and almost as smart as humans.
Lyme didease had little, if anything to do with how it acted, because chimps are evil, mean and stronger than a human.
She should have known what she had in her house and been prepaired for what could have (did) hapened.
