Barack on Batanga

Batanga_small Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has created a profile page on MyBatanga.com, which is a social network site geared toward young U.S. Latinos.

Batanga is a media and entertainment company headquartered in Miami, and the company said Obama is the first presidential candidate for the 2008 race to post his profile on MyBatanga.com. The site is available in both English and Spanish, and includes Obama's photos, blogs and his videos on YouTube called "BarackTV." You can check out his page at http://MyBatanga.com/barackobama.

There is a profile page on Batanga all about the election called TuVoto, and aside from Obama, Libertarian candidate George Phillies is the only other candidate with a page on MyBatanga.

Batanga reports it has about 4.5 million unique visitors a month and there are about 200,000 MyBatanga members.
