I do adore the HTC Incredible, an Android smartphone sold at Verizon. (It's $199.99 after rebate and contract.)
It uses the Android 2.1 operating system with HTC Sense. It also has a 1GHz processor and an 8-megapixel camera with flash and autofocus and records video. It uses optical joystick for scrolling and selecting, instead of a trackball.
I like how they ditched the trackball and instead went with a sensor. The camera is sharp and the seven-screen interface is super slick.
But not everything is incredible. When recording audio in a memo or in video, the sound quality is really poor when compared to that of the iPhone.
The fast processor makes jumping between tasks a breeze. With all the features, I think it's the best touchscreen smartphone phone on the market today -- if you don't mind having mediocre audio in your videos.
