As a Rock Band junkie it's really exciting to see new instruments being introduced. As someone who plays the keyboard, I've been waiting for a Rock Band version of my instrument of choice. And if you play the guitar, you're going to appreciate a new controller that has 6-strings and 17 frets along a button-based neck. The Rock Band 3 game and instruments are for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the Wii. It has 83 songs and will be hitting stores for the holiday shopping season.
The Wireless Keyboard Controller is going to cost $79.99 (you can also buy a stand sold separately, or just put it on a table to save a few bucks). You can bundle the new keyboard and Rock Band 3 game together for $129.99.
The Wireless Fender Mustang PRO-Guitar will be $149.99 and the Wireless PRO-Cymbals Expansion Kit, with three newly designed cymbals that were re-engineered to be more quiet, are sold for $39.99.
Here's the best part. If you already have a REAL keyboard that has a MIDI-Out port, or if you have a MIDI drum set, you can use the MIDI PRO-Adapter so you don't need to buy more fake instruments! The adapter costs $39.99. So I'll be using my real keyboard and saving some cash!

I'm pretty excited about the new Rockband keyboard as well, but were you aware of the new Pro version that actually allows you to play real notes with the keyboard? If you look closely at the wireless Fender you can see actual strings there as well, so Pro mode allows you to learn guitar fundamentals as well.
It seems every new release just ups the bar and makes it that much closer to having your own garage band. The only problem is where to store all the cool new peripherals!

I really love this stuff. It is so much fun to play rockband. First I played it was at the Games Convention in Germany in front of an audience and it was so cool ;) I really like it.
