Some Miami 305 AT&T numbers temporary down Tuesday morning

Some AT&T customers with 305 area code numbers saw problems Tuesday morning trying to make or receive calls, due to a overnight software upgrade glitch. AT&T reports all problems have been fixed. According to spokeswoman Kelly Starling:

An AT&T wireless service interruption that affected some South Florida customers has been restored.  An overnight software upgrade to some 305 area code numbers encountered a problem. As a result, those customers were having trouble making and receiving calls. AT&T has fixed the problem. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.

I was one of the customers impacted. My neighbors were working just fine. Once I power cycled my phone I was able to make calls again.
