Bridget Carey writes about technology for The Miami Herald. Born and raised in South Florida, she has been writing for The Herald since her days at Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines. She majored in journalism at the University of Florida, but if there were a degree for pop culture, she would have a doctorate.
