About Cache & Carey
Cache (kāsh) n.
- A place for concealment and safekeeping, as of valuables. A fast storage buffer in the central processing unit of a computer. Also called cache memory.
- Bridget Carey writes about technology for The Miami Herald. Born and raised in South Florida, she has been writing for The Herald since her days at Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines. She majored in journalism at the University of Florida, but if there were a degree for pop culture, she would have a doctorate. This natural-born geek spent most of her life basking in the warm glow of a computer monitor and has a hard time contemplating what life was like before instant messenger.
- The blog for all things tech in South Florida.
