Fox's skeletons-in-the-closet reality show Moment Of Truth, which was canceled in its Colombian version after a contestant confessed on the air to hiring a hitman to kill her husband, has already scored its first U.S. success. American contestant Lauren Cleri's marriage broke up this week after she admitted to a national television audience that she cheated on her husband and that she'd rather be married to somebody else.
Contestants on the show are wired to a lie-detector, then win prize money for honestly answering questions about scandals in their pasts. Sadly, Cleri missed out on the big bucks when she was asked if she thinks she's a good person and replied yes. The polygraph machine didn't buy it.
