Everybody hates Bill Moyers

Moyerslbj Well, it seems I was overhasty in saying Bill Moyers would go unscathed by the Washington Post's disclosure earlier this week that he was Lyndon Johnson's gay-basher-in-chief before he appointed himself The Conscience of the American Press on PBS. Here's a column from Slate's Jack Shafer containing links to other writers with a notable lack of awe of Moyers.

UPDATE, Feb. 23: Shafer has totally declared war on Moyers. They both live in the Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C., I believe, so it would probably be wise to get out of there before we see the mushroom clouds.
