Your TV in 3D, sooner than you think

3dtv Blame it on Avatar. Earlier this week ESPN announced it has plans for a 3D sports channel. Now DirecTV says it will have three 3D channels up and running by June, with programming from CBS, NBC, MTV, HDNet and Fox Sports -- including a 3D telecast of the 2010 baseball All-Star Game.

Excellent article! Personally I wonder if television 3D that bigs companies will try to sell to us are truly a revolution or simple swindles (here for more details http://bit.ly/4WQzIG )

That's positive news! What we miss is 3D content so if the 3D Tv hype wants to succeed it really needs content. The LCD shutter glasses will not be necessary for a long time....

I hope so. My free time spent in front of a 3D TV will be more interesting and engaging.

There are more and more 3d channels popping up. Its very positive news for 3D TV. I personally can't wait to view some good old horror.
