Haven (10 p.m Friday, Syfy) -- Stranger moves to a little town and discovers everybody has supernatural powers. Not to be confused with the ABC shows The Gates, in which a stranger moves to a little town and discovers everybody's a vampire, or Happy Town, in which a stranger moves to a little town and discovers everybody's a serial killer.
The Bridge (10 p.m. Saturday, CBS) -- This new cop drama has an interesting twist: The hero is battling not only criminals on the streets but corruption within the police union. Though, oddly, no vampires.
