Why I avoid TV and shopping carts in SF

Shopcart I'm in San Francisco, where I've been too terrified to turn on a television since seeing a local news promo eight or nine years ago that began: "Thirty-three percent of Bay Area grocery shopping carts are contaminated with feces! Details at 11!" So, no blogging for me until Sunday. Even if I summoned the courage to watch TV here, it's too difficult to type with my gloves on.
