ABC renews 'Cougar Town' and 'Private Practice'

Cougartown A couple of ABC shows thought by some to be in a spot of trouble have just been renewed for next season. Courteney Cox's Cougar Town and Grey's Anatomy spinoff Private Practice were picked up for the 2011-2012 reason, along four shows on more solid footing: Modern Family, The Middle, Grey's Anatomy and Castle.
