YIPEE!! I'm in Southern Arizona hiking and horseback riding in the SNOW! Not a whole lotta snow, but a light dusting. The mountains at the north end of Tucson look like they've been powdered, and just as we dismounted yesterday, a little snow cloud swept through Sononita and smacked right into us. Kinda cool for us tropical types.
In a few hours, we're headed out to the Muleshoe Ranch, a Nature Conservancy preserve where the galpals and I go hiking every spring. It is blessedly unplugged from the rest of the world so I'll be off the grid the rest of the week and may not post until Monday.
Cheers-
Ellie B
I was wondering where you found snow but realized the post was from March. It's May now and hitting around 100 degrees. We spent the weekend in the Forest Lakes area. Are you familiar with that area??
