DOGGIEWEEN COSTUME PARTY TO BENEFIT MIAMI-DADE ANIMAL SERVICES
Dogs and cats from Miami-Dade County Animal Services will get all dressed up this Halloween in hopes of finding permanent homes. La Piaggia Restaurant is hosting its first ever Doggieween Costume Party on Friday, October 31st, 2008, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, at 1000 South Point Drive, on Miami Beach. One pet will walk away with a Best Costume Prize, but it is hoped that all pets will walk away with new owners and a place to call home.

Tax-deductible donations for the Miami-Dade County Animal Services Trust Fund will also be collected. Funds are used to better equip animal shelters, plan and organize educational programs, and raise public awareness about the Miami-Dade Animal Services Department.
Checks should be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners, with the memo line noting Animal Services Trust Fund. Checks can also be sent to Miami-Dade Animal Services Trust Fund, 7401 NW 74th St., Miami, FL. 33166.
