They're like book ends!! They're shar pei mixes, like my Yoda, who is a wonderful girl. Hope someone can give them a home.
Looking
for two lovely ladies!!!??? Well there are two waiting for you in Riverview,
which is in the Tampa area. Meet
Laverne and Shirley!
In
February 2008 the Santa Rose County Shelter in Milton found Laverne and
Shirley. These two beautiful ladies were strays wondering the streets. The
shelter contacted Florida Shar-Pei Rescue but because they were not purebreds
they would not be able to take them in. Instead Laverne and Shirley were
taken from the shelter and they stayed in a Shar-Pei facility till December
2008.
At
the end of the 2008, the facility wanted Laverne and Shirley moved. So,
Shar-Pei Rescue discovered Camp Bow Wow. The camp was contacted and they said
yes to fostering as well as looking for new families for these two girls.
So Laverne and Shirley were transported down to the new facility in
December 2008. The move was a shock for them since they had adjusted
to the first location. At the new location Shar-Pei rescue has provided
fees for the monthly heart-worm and flea preventatives as well as for updating
the shots.
It
is sad to say but there has been no interest in these ladies. In April Shar-Pei
rescue was told that they needed to move Laverne and Shirley. Since they were a
mix they still could not be taken into Shar-Pei rescue. The pups cannot go back to the shelter, they
cannot stay at the foster camp…they need a HOME.
Laverne
and Shirley were and still are lonely. They are loosing weight, not eating
properly and need to be in a home environment. They need a loving home, a
family that cares and will give them attention and lots of patience. These
young ladies have lost hope. They have lost confidence and trust…..they are
very scared that they will be alone for life.
These
two lovely ladies are patiently waiting for you to come visit and see if you
make a perfect match. Labrador
Retriever Rescue of Florida is working to find the perfect family or families
for these lovely ladies. They have only had each other through all of this and
we would like them to be adopted together but this is not mandatory.
