I would love to see more pet-friendly condo communities. But there is another type of community, which frequently includes condos, that also would benefit from allowing pets. These are the HOPA or 55+ communities. Think of the benefit to seniors, who are often widowed, of having a pet. It is a fact that people with pets often live longer. If the emotional and physical benefits aren't enough - think of the financial benefit Lifting restrictions will increase resale value and reduce resale time as it opens the door to more buyers.
