"Thanks
to many of you who donated used furniture, clothes, electronics and other miscellaneous items, our April garage sale was
a HUGE success. We raised over $1200! Because it was such a
success, we're organizing another one for next Saturday, May 28th, from
7:00-1:00 pm. It will be held at
17530 SW 90 Ave., Palmetto Bay.

you have anything to donate (and we mean anything- garage salers buy

On
May 7, the Okeechobee Intensive Halfway House (where our program is being
implemented) hosted a silent auction and dinner and raised over $2000 for our
kennels!
While
we're still far away from our target, we're continuing to inch towards it!
Plus, we're still up for the $250,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant. Don't
forget to continue voting for us on the Pepsi Refresh website! We are
well into the top 10 percent, but if we can make into the Top 100 groups, we
will automatically be re-entered for the grant in June! To all of you who
have been voting and forwarding our emails around, thank you so much!
