Tips, if you get to bring your best friend:
Check with your boss before bringing in your dog. Also make sure no one has serious allergies or dog phobia.
Bring the essentials: leash, treats, baby gate for the office door, chew toys, doggie bed.
Dog-proof your workplace. Watch out for electrical wiring and toxic plants, permanent markers and white-out.
Take your dog out for regular bathroom breaks. (Bring bags and paper towels, just in case.)
• Know your pet's limits. If he's a biter or is skittish in new situations, keep him at home.
