Mixed Breed Special at Broward Humane

Sheba 264827

Fort Lauderdale, FL –  The Humane Society of Broward County always has a variety of beautiful mixed breed dogs and cats looking for loving homes.  Most pets are given up by their families for reasons such as moving, too many or sadly because they can no longer afford to take care of them.  As an end of summer special and to bring attention to these beautiful, one-of-a-kind, unique pets the HSBC has an end of summer special you won’t want to miss.  Starting Sunday, August 1st if you adopt any mixed breed dog or cat, one year of age or older the adoption fees will be just $25.00 for a feline and $50.00 for a canine.  The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery before the pet goes home; preliminary vaccinations; microchip and registration; 14 day health care plan courtesy of VCA Animal Hospitals; heartworm test for dogs; feline leukemia test for cats; 4 lb. bag of Purina ONE pet food and a friend for life.

Make a difference in the life of a homeless animal, please adopt today!  The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, just a block west of I-95.  The shelter is open seven days a week and adoptions open everyday at 10:00.   The shelter is a private non-profit organization that is not affiliated with any national or local group with a similar name.  The HSBC relies on the generosity of people in our community to help us help the homeless animals.   To see pets available for adoption visit www.humanebroward.com (the website is updated hourly) or call 954-989-3977 for more information.   (offer is valid only at the HSBC and not for pets at mobile adoption events)

Sheba (ID#  264827) is 4, a 58-pound retriever mix who loves to play and is good with people of all ages.

Mimi (ID# 391677) the cat is 7 and lost her home because the family had a new baby.  Mimi likes other felines and dogs too.
