Have Yourself a Golden (retriever) Christmas!

Goldboy

Remember: it is better to give than to receive, so give this guy a home for the holidays!
Hi everyone, Calloway here, a 6 year old handsome boy looking for a new home. After years together, my old family left me at the shelter because they were moving and no longer had the time or space to keep me. Luckily a nice lady from lab rescue saw me and brought me home. Although I love my foster home I’d really like to find my furever family. My foster mom says I am well behaved, don’t jump up on people or furniture and am extremely sweet and well natured. I'm also very smart and have already learned to sit and lie down on command.  I have these pesky things called heartworms but I’ve already started treatment and will be ready to go on December 18, 2010. I have to be kept calm during treatment and I am generally pretty calm although I do get excited when I see tennis balls or other dogs so I’m looking forward to the end of my treatment so that I can play more. I’m friendly to dogs of all sizes and was nice to the cats at the vet’s office and the neighborhood stray cats as well. If you are looking for a nice boy like me to join your family email the Lab Rescue and ask for me by name. Can’t wait to meet you!
If you are interested in meeting or adopting CALLOWAY or one of our other labs contact Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida by visiting our website www.labradorrescue.net  or call 1-866-464-LABS. LRROF has all our Labs microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and each adoption comes with a 30 day pre-paid pet health insurance plan. All applicants will have a home inspection and vet reference (if applicable)

It's always so sad to read about people moving and giving up their dogs:(
