A new place to play with your pup

Dog Agility Training ‘Zooms’ into Boca Raton

Local Father and Daughter Launch Zoom Room®: New Business that Embraces Social Aspect of Pet Ownership

Coconut Creek, FL (April 18, 2011) – Dogs and their owners in South Florida now have something else to do besides take walks around the block or hang out at the local dog park. The Zoom Room®, a social, sporty gym that offers agility training and innovative group classes in a hip, modern place is set to open April 30, 2011 at 6550 North State Rd. 7 in Coconut Creek, FL.

The Zoom Room® focuses on the bond between the owner and their dog by offering an array of classes and activities for dog owners. Local dog-lovers and their pups are invited to attend the Zoom Room® Grand Opening on April 30, 2011 to experience free dog agility classes, held each hour from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The celebration continues from 3:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. with a Doggy Disco® party, refreshments, and a raffle to benefit the Tri County Humane Society, a no-kill organization saving pets in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.

At the Zoom Room®, owners will learn how to teach their dog everything from agility, obedience and therapy dog training, to scent tracking, shy dog training for rescue dogs, Pup-lates® and other activities, giving not only the dog a workout, but the owners as well.

“We are so excited to provide a fun, safe, indoor facility for South Florida dogs and their owners,” said Lee Fischer, who owns the Coconut Creek Zoom Room® with his daughter, Jessica.  “At the Zoom Room®, we don’t train dogs; we train the people who love them. We use only positive training and emphasize the bond between dogs and their owners in a setting that celebrates the social aspect of dog ownership.”

In addition to group and private classes, the new Zoom Room® in Coconut Creek serves as a dedicated event center for dog birthday parties, Bark Mitzvahs, charitable fundraisers or other canine events.  Boca area dog owners will also enjoy the carefully-curated selection of solution-oriented pet retail products, including organic dog food, all-natural treats, eco-friendly toys and puzzles, and hand-crafted leather leashes.

The original Zoom Room® opened in Culver City, CA in 2007 and was founded by Los Angeles, CA dog training expert Jaime Van Wye. As a sporty, eco-friendly and fresh approach to dog ownership and training, the Zoom Room® is a promising new addition to the $48 billion pet industry.

Agility training can provide the environment and structure to build confidence in your dog. Agility classes are a great place for people to learn about the sport and learn how to train, but the timid dog may take a long time before he is ready to venture from under your chair or off your lap.

This is for sure to be an excellent venue of solidifying bonds between pets and its master. Thanks for this great blog. Hope to visit your place soon.
