Doral to get first off-leash dog park

Doral, FL – City of Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, Members of the Doral City Council, Members of the Doral Parks Advisory board, and the Dog Park Sub-Committee will celebrate the groundbreaking of the city’s newest park, the 50^th Street Park, at 10 am on April 5, 2011.

 This new park, the city’s fifth park, will be an 8.1 acre park that will include an off-leash area for dogs, a bike path, picnic pavilions, children’s playground, restrooms and parking. The project has a budget of $3.32 million and is slated to be completed in May of 2012.
