The big pet extravaganza at the Miami Beach Convention Center is on for Saturday and Sunday, whatever Hurricane Irene decides to do-- which probably involves heading elsewhere, fortunately. I'll be there Sunday at 11:30 to chat with whoever stops by about the current state of animal welfare in South Florida. I'll also have Steffi with me, hoping to find the perfect forever home for her.
