Beauty at the Beach
That's what Terry Reaves calls this photo, shot a few days ago off Miami Beach. Terry lives in landlocked Arizona, so "going to the beach is a real treat for me.''

From Irma in Doral: ''I bought a new purse and Kalyx immediately iscovered that it was the perfect napping place! Kalyx just turned 7 years old, he's been with me for 4 years...I rescued him in Orlando..he was malnourished (only 7 pounds, now he's 12 pounds), borderline anemic, and full of fleas. Kalyx loves to be around people and other pets and inspects everything...for this he was punished by his previous owner, who locked him up in the bathroom any time he had guests over. Not with me! He's the king of the house!''

I've Heard of "Mad as a Wet Hen...''
But a wet hen is probably nowhere near as mad as these dripping felines, none of whom look any too happy about bath time. This is from one of those Internet things that starts who knows where and circulates the planet in about 15 minutes.
