Police seek tips in Hollywood shooting

LeeGeorge Lee died in a hailstorm of bullets.

The 19-year-old was walking down 22nd Avenue in Hollywood when a white car pulled up alongside him. Someone inside opened fire, striking Lee in the torso.

The police found Lee lying in the street. He died later that night.

More than a week has passed since the slaying and the case remains unsolved. Now, the police are asking the public to help identify the killer.

"We don't think this was a random act of violence," said Hollywood Police Capt. Tony Rode. "Somebody out there has to know something. We're asking anyone with information to give us a call."
