Did football throw kill baby?

A 15-year-old girl prematurely delivered a baby in Fort Lauderdale last month, and the baby died within hours.

Now, prosecutors might charge a 15-year-old boy with the baby's death. The boy threw a football at the pregnant girl's belly -- twice -- the day before she gave birth.

The boy knew the girl was pregnant; according to a police report, she told him she was about to give birth when he asked her why she was "sticking out." He threw the football at her on the basketball courts outside the Boys & Girls Club on West Broward Boulevard.
