Butt prints land Neb. man in jail

Stores, churches and schools in a small Nebraska town didn't appreciate being the butt of Thomas Larvie's jokes.

That's because the 35-year-old man, called the "Butt Bandit", would rub his rear in lotion or petroleum jelly and leave the imprint on windows.

Sometimes he left marks from the front as well.

Last week, Larvie was sentenced to more than 13 months in jail. He was convicted of public indecency and disturbing the peace.

He apparently took off fall and winter months, and one time left imprints on every window of a hotel.

"This isn't normal behavior for Valentine, Neb.," Cherry County Attorney Eric Scott told the Associated Press in November, around the time of his arrest. "It's an embarrassment for the hardworking people who live here."
