An 11-year-old boy used his youth-model shotgun to kill his soon-to-be stepmother, police said.
Kenzia Houk, 36, a mother of two girls, was eight months pregnant and was set to wed his dad. The boy was jealous, family members told the Pennsylvania, Daily News.
The boy shot Houk while she was in bed, and was able to catch his school bus on time after the murder.
His 8-year-old stepsister went to school with him. The 4-year-old remained in the house.
Police found Houk dead after the toddler ran out of the house crying, and men trimming trees nearby called 911.
The boy is facing two homicide charges.

A Remington Youth Firearms advertising selling youth-model shotguns may help explain: "Young shooters are more likely to become stewards of the shooting sports if they start with a gun that fits properly."
The National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center would probably advise parents not to push their kids to take up this sport. In an interview with juvenile offenders about how they acquired their first gun, 42 percent said a relative or an older friend had given it to them.
