Police set explosion, $25,000 reward

Authorities are offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for stealing 250 pounds of highly-volatile explosives stolen last year from a locked container in Black Star Canyon.

The Orange County Sheriff's Bomb Squad and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives set off a sample explosion at the Sheriff Training Facility after making the announcement in Orange, Calif.   AP
