McNugget rage turns to crime

0303091inside1 Police in Fort Pierce have charged 27-year-old Latreasa Goodman (left) with misusing the 911 system after she called the emergency number three times to report that her local McDonald's was out of Chicken McNuggets.

"This is an emergency," she said to the 911 operator.Seriously. "My McNuggets are an emergency."

Only in Florida. Ba da ba ba baaaaa. I'm loving it.

This is hilarious and sad at the same time. I don't whether I should laugh or not. However, she did break the law and should be punished. The "only in Florida" remark is very accurate.

i'm glad somebody's finally cracking down on the fast food industry; they are destroying the population with their addictive, tasty trans fats and dollar menus...

Is it considered an emergency when you're being robbed? If she were more clever, and reported the fact that she paid for the McNuggets and then after not receiving them was refused recompense, it has to be considered robbery, plain and simple...which surely is an emergency.
