Otty Sanchez, 33, decapitated her son 3 1/2-week-old Scotty Wesley Buchholz-Sanchez, and partially cannibalized him in San Antonio, Texas.
When police entered the home they found a decapitated baby and Sanchez sitting on the couch with a self-inflicted wound to her chest. Her throat was partially slashed and she was screaming "I killed my baby! I killed my baby!"
She told officers the devil ordered her to do it.
The crime scene was so gruesome that officers could not speak to each other as they inspected the house. Authorities found the baby with three of his toes chewed off, his face torn away, and his brains ripped out. She ate part of the baby's brain.
Sanchez used a knife and two swords.
Sanchez's family said she had been hearing voices, and had been diagnosed with postpartum psychosis, which can cause delusional thoughts and hallucinations.

This is horrible. We need a better system. Her family knew she was hearing voices. That family should have had a place they could call to keep that baby safe!
