Federal Reserve chief is a victim of fraud

Clyde Austin Gray Jr., a scam artist known as 'Big Head,' got to the Federal Reserve chief's Wachovia bank account information, Newsweek is reporting.

The chief's wife Anna Bernanke filed a police report in Washington D.C., after some one stole her purse at a Starbucks. 

Porn mogul Joe Francis goes wild

U.S. Magistrate Judge Allan Kornblum said Joe Francis went wild during a deposition.

He went as far as taking the camera from the court videographer to film Rachael G. Pontikes, one of the plaintiffs' attorneys.

It is unclear how Karen Annette Taylor, 48, got this hairdo or how she lost her earring. She is being accused of stealing an empty ambulance in Coral Gables and attacking the police officer who stopped her. Miami Herald Staff Robert Samuels reported she is being held at the Women's Detention Center on $10,000 bond.

For more than a half-century, Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church has tried to serve as an unshakable shield of strength on a desolate corner in Liberty City.

But an unfamiliar spirit broke through its doors Monday night: crime. A gun-wielding robber ordered a troupe of ushers who were meeting there to lie on the ground and give him everything in their pockets. Then, he picked up the car keys of Douglas Cook, the church's white-haired pastor of 41 years, and drove away in his car.

Now churchgoers have a warning for Satan: "The preacher is going to preach your kingdom down!''
